The Bad Film Society's Super 70s Show Bubblegum Afterschool TV Special!

Imagine a place where Carol and Mike Brady are your perfect parents, white spangled bell bottoms are all the rage in your fashion circle, where Witchie-Poo is the only evil in the land and all problems are solved by a handful of "meddling kids!" The Bad Film Society and the LiftOff! Entertainment Empire are proud to bring you....

THE SUPER 70's SHOW! (A 1971 Bubblegum Pop Art TV Experience!)

Kick back in your red shag bean bag chair and return to a world where The Gong Show and Land Of The Lost are always on TV, where Gene Rayburn perpetually hosts The Match Game, and The Galloping Gourmet is always cooking in the kitchen! Where Evel Knievel is perpetually poised to jump Snake River Canyon as Kohoutek blazes across the sky, and Skylab is always about to fall--IN YOUR BACKYARD! Play "Pong" on your brand new Atari machine while wearing your powder blue Leisure Suit and Earth Shoes with cool toe socks! Dig your blacklight "Keep On Truckin'" poster while not quite getting the comedy of Cheech and Chong, and dream of the day you'll see a real live streaker--OF THE OPPOSITE GENDER!

It's--THE SUPER 70's Show, a surreal montage of TV memories as filtered through the eyes of children of the 70s. SEE--The Brady Bunch Disco Special! HEAR--The Osmonds in concert! TASTE--our amazing Saturday Morning Sugar Cereal Buffet! DANCE--in our Archies weird dance crazes of 1970 dance contest! DRESS--as tasetelessly as possible for our Tom Jones Memorial Fashion Show! WIN--Pop Rocks, Tang, and a box of Quisp Cereal! VOTE--for the amazingly obscure lost TV moment YOU want to see from our staggering collection! WEEP--at the heartrending sight of the infamous "Crying Indian commercial"! GASP--at the full, uncut, unbelievable episode known as "The Partridge Family Go To The Ghetto! (with Richard Pryor!).

Stay tuned for the 12th chapter of the 1941 serial, Jungle Girl! What trouble will that hot gal get into next! See terrific vine-swinging, cliff-diving, croc-wrestling, dorky gorillas, and of course, an evil witch doctor! Also on view will be some extremely rare early TV shows.

This is an alcohol-free, smoke-free event. Children are welcome! Where/When
