| The
Brain That Wouldn't Die
The
evening will kick off with a Spook Show-a-Go-Go
Goul-o-rama Cavalcade of ultra-rare cartoons, shorts
and coming attractions.
The
feature film will be The Brain That Wouldn't
Die, a major entry in the absurd trash
genre from 1963. Love is a many-splattered thing
when a brilliant surgeon keeps the decapitated head
of his fiancé alive after a car crash while
he searches for a suitably stacked body onto which
to transplant the head. The head talks so much,
the Doc tapes her mouth shut! Keep your eyes peeled
for an awe-inspiring cat fight! Watch out for the
giant pinhead mutant in the closet! This one is
a top favorite of bad film freaks.
Kindly
bring a tasty dish for a luscious potluck dinner
before the feature. Wear a sick costume or dress
up your food or don't do either or do both or??
Bring
some abominably bad videos you'd love to get rid
of as door prizes for our humiliating and hilarious
raffle. Loads o'fun! |
