The
feature will be from 1964, GHIDRAH, THE THREE-HEADED
MONSTER, one of best Japanese monster bashes.
Ghidrah is a huge fire-breathing winged dragon from
space that decides to wreak havoc on Japan because...well,
he's a monster.
In
the meantime, and because six heads are better than
three, old favorites Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra
also join in the fray.
There
are bizarre subplots about a princess who appears
to be have been abducted by aliens, scientists exploring
a volcano, a group of assassins and Mothra's tiny
twin singing priestesses on an island with ritual
dancing natives - but all of this is forgotten as
soon as the monsters meet in the no-holds-barred
finale.
