| Feature: The Invisible Ray from 1936
starring Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi.
Nine years before the atomic bomb,
Hollywood was exploiting radioactivity! By following
a ray of light that left the Andromeda galaxy millions
of years ago back to its source, Karloff can see back
back, back.... He proves that a meteor had landed
on Earth before time began, and theorizes it brought
the ray from which comes the source of all life. He
convinces Lugosi to take him on his expedition to
deepest, darkest stereotypical Africa to find the
meteor and prove his theory. Karloff succeeds in finding
the meteor but becomes dangerously radioactive himself.
A rollicking rampage of murder and mayhem follow.
Great Fun!
We will also explore some 16 mm
rarities!
Also: Yet another great
episode of Radar Men from
the Moon from 1951. See Commando Cody,
Sky Marshall of the Entire Gosh-Darn Universe, go
to the Moon to stop the scum-sucking evil Moon Men
from conquering the Earth with a not-very-nice atomic
gun!
